Technische Universität München

The Technical University of Munich" (TUM) is one of Munich's two large universities. It is home of all engineering faculties in München, and, in addition, includes faculties for the natural sciences, mathematics, and computer science, but also medicine and other life sciences.

TUM's history is closely connected with the names of a lot of famous scientists like Rudolf Diesel, Claude Dornier, Carl von Linde, Wilhelm Messerschmidt, Wilhelm Nusselt, Hans Piloty, Friedrich von Thiersch, and Heinrich Wieland.

Today, more than 40,000 students from all over the world are enrolled at the TUM, making it one of Germany's most renowned universities for science and engineering.
