Opening Weekend in Bernried, 2009
The 2009 Opening Weekend took place from April 17 until April 19 at the Generali-Seminarzentrum in Bernried. The programme included meetings of the official commitees, the introduction of the BGCE and the basis programms CE, COME and CSE to the new students, the "Fireside Chat" (without a fire) with Prof. Hegering from the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre and the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing about High Performance Computing, and two Soft Skill seminars: "When Teamwork works" (Katrin Lippmann) for the 1st-year students and "Minds in Motion - Experiences with Creativity and Innovation" (Pit Forster) for the 2nd-year students.
